In 2024, I am excited to get back on the road. I took time off partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic but also because I’ve focused on speaking engagements and book tours the last few years. In my new group, I have two great New Orleans musicians. I welcome back Drummer Darryl White, who toured with me in years past. On Bass is new member Justin Davi, who rounds out the power trio. We have a deep catalog of songs I've written and recorded over the years to choose from, including songs from my movies O Brother Where Art Thou, Down From The Mountain, and Ray.

We are a New Orleans blues rock trio expressing all the funky high-spirited music fans expect from a New Orleans blues band. Although I enjoy performing electric blues guitar heroics, our shows will include reflective ballads, some of which I perform and sing on the piano. In addition, folk acoustic slide guitar songs are an essential part of my shows. I like to dig into my roots. But it is no secret I like to have a good time because that is what the blues is all about. In this band, we let the good times roll.
